Nimmitabel is an historic village on the edge of the Snowy Mountain region. At 1070 metres above sea level it is one of Australia's highest townships, and snowcapped mountains can be seen from many parts of the town. Cooma and Bombala are each about a 30 minute drive away. Nimmitabel Country Club presents a nine hole, 5404 metre golf course with a par of 70 and ACR of 66. It is in the ACT-Monaro Golf District in the Snowy Mountains Region. The clubhouse is open Weds - Sunday, from 3.00pm weekdays and from noon on weekends.
